This is a quality piece of kit which will make you the best tasting cup of coffee this side of Italy. All you need to add is some good quality coffee beans and some decent tap water, press the button, and there is a really good coffee ready in a few seconds. It isn’t cheap, but it is worth it. Suitable for a coffee loving home or possibly a small restaurant/ cafe.

Jura are the best of the best for coffee machines, but this machine is not even in their current line.

Have at look at their different model ranges before jumping in to buying this one

Excellent machine. Very easy to use and maintain.

1. Coffee making is simple. Load beans, fill reservoir with water and push a button. Perfect coffee, with good crema every time.

2. Maintenance is simple. Empty the drip tray and the bin that catches used coffee grounds regularly. The coffee diffuser and spouts need cleaned occasionally. The machine has an automatic descaling cycle for all you people unfortunate enough to live in hard water areas.

Very highly recommended.

This machine is simply excellent for the money.It does everything it says and would expect of De’longhi.All that and a good crema.

Jura machines are world renowned and excellent for those fortunate few who are lucky enough to own them. This machine gives the same spec coffee as a Jura piece of kit and at a fraction of the cost.

I give it 5 stars.

I really wanted a machine that made coffee that tasted as good as any reputable coffee house, that was not to complicated so all the family could use it, at a reasonable price, with features that can be easily adjusted for everyones particular taste in coffee.

Well I can honestly say this fits all of the above criteria and more.

You will never go back to drinking instant coffee ever again.

My 13 year old daughter can make individual coffee’s tailored to all the families specific requests, the milk frothing is simple and with two seperate boilers one for coffee and one for milk it is nearly instant in its dispatch of both of the above.

If you like your coffee really hot the machine can be set to a high setting.The strenth can be adjusted and the size of the cup or cups – a two fill option, is really handy. The cup height adjustment is similar to a jura machine which is useful for esspresso cups or mugs.

The instructions are simple and we were drinking freshly ground coffee within half an hour of the machine being delivered.

I owned a Gaggia Bean to Cup machine for five years during which time it had to be repaired on a number of occasions. As it had broken down again in June I phoned Gaggia only to discover that they had been taken over by Philips who told me that they could not offer any advice or service facilities since they had not yet received any information about Gaggia’s products. I therefore decided to go for another make – namely De Longhi – and I have to say that it is far superior to the Gaggia, especially in that it makes far better Espresso coffee. It also has a larger water container which is most welcome. Also it is very easy to vary the strength of coffee and the required volume. If you like Cappuccino you will not be disappointed. I have now had the machine for one month and can confidently say that for anybody who is looking for a reliable machine – and a good looking one – for a very acceptable price, I would unconditionally recommend the De Longhi product. Go and buy it!

I have struggled for years to perfect a good cup of coffee, i could never get the strength correct.

This machine is the ultimate and does it all for you at the touch of a few simple buttons.

Excellent for making latte, espresso, cappuccino or regular coffee. You can even manually programme the machine to make a coffee just the way you like it.

Furthermore it froths and warms your milk in minutes.

This is the best money I have ever spent on a kitchen appliance and i am more than a happy customer.

However making good coffee requires a good bean, I would recommend a cafe origin bean which are for sale via amazon site at a very reasonable price.

After painstaking research I finally decided to buy the “perfecta” machine and am I glad I did buy it! Great coffee easily made simple to follow instructions and so much cheaper than the “Nespresso” system I was using before.

I purchased this machine in January 2009 (not from Amazon I hasten to add). Sadly in October the machine blew up, with a strong acrid burning smell. After contacting the original retailer I was directed to the local Delonghi service centre. It was with the repair centre just under a month before the parts arrived from Delonghi. needless to say the parts failed to resolve the problem. The repair centre have been told it will be another month before the parts are available for the next attempted fix. So it has now been nearly 2 months without the machine and still no confidence that it will be repaired before the end of the year.

I cannot fault the machine when it works, but Delonghi have provided the worst customer experience I have ever had to endure, they seem unable to supply their repair centres in a timely fashion and do not seem to care about their end users. Interestingly delonghi are no longer a premium manufactuer and are a subsidiary of Kenwood.

The retailer I purchased this device from have been helpful and professional, but no longer stock Delonghi, whilst they have offered replacements and substitutes they do not in my eyes meet the original quality. It seems that I should have purchased a Miele or Dura.
